Prior to launching UNA Worldwide, Berk was a Founding Partner of Kyosay Global, a multinational company with a focus on a wide range of business and investment opportunities in emerging markets. While at Kyosay Global, he served clients seeking funding, investment, offshore product sources and market entry opportunities on a global scale. Additionally, as Vice President of Corporate Strategy for Baxter International, Berk led the development of enterprise strategic planning, portfolio management and competitive intelligence models for this Fortune 500 pharma company. Here, he directed a $6B, 6-company business through strategic growth and entry into a new multimillion-dollar market in the midst of intense competition.

- As Chairman of the Board for Goodwill Ind. of Metropolitan Chicago, led this organization out of bankruptcy and through a successful joint venture with Goodwill Ind. of Milwaukee, creating one of the largest Goodwill operations worldwide and future growth opportunities.
- In 2009, led multiple fund-raising efforts for Asia-based companies seeking investment and/or market entry.
- As Vice President of Operations, New Acquisitions, for First Chicago (now JPMorgan Chase), responsible for leading post-merger integration for a $10B company.
- As Vice President of all Asia-Pacific business, recruited a world-class multinational team in Hong Kong, supporting a $20B business.
- As Vice President and General Manager of a $370M business, transformed the division to overcome previous losses and restore the focus on best practices and compliance. Within 3 years, profitability had been restored.
- Serves as an Adjunct Professor of Strategy at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
- Holds an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago and a BS in Finance/Accounting from Loyola University in India.
